Why we exist

Our Mission

Our mission is to create meaningful birthday experiences for children who may otherwise go unrecognized, with special attention given to children with special needs. Through community support, monthly celebrations, birthday submissions, and Amazon wish lists, Birthday Village helps families create joyful memories while reminding every child that they matter.

How Birthday Village Works

  1. Step 1. Submit a Birthday

    Tell us about the birthday child and their upcoming celebration.

  2. Step 2. Create or Share a Wish List

    Eligible families may provide an Amazon wish list so community members can help fulfill meaningful birthday wishes.

  3. Step 3. Celebrate Together

    Selected children are recognized through Birthday Village's monthly community birthday celebration.

Our story

It Started With One Birthday Wish

Birthday Village was inspired by Jace, a nonverbal autistic child who used his communication device to express that he wanted a birthday party. That simple but powerful request became the beginning of something much bigger: a community committed to making sure children—especially those who are often overlooked—feel celebrated.
