Jay believes every child deserves to feel acknowledged and celebrated. That belief is the foundation of Birthday Village.

How Birthday Village began
One Birthday Wish Became a Village
Birthday Village began with Jay's son, Jace, a nonverbal autistic child who used his communication device to express that he wanted a birthday party. His request was simple, but its meaning was powerful. It highlighted how deeply every child wants to feel recognized, included, and celebrated.
What began as a desire to create that experience for Jace grew into a larger mission: helping children, especially children with special needs and those who may otherwise be overlooked, experience the joy and belonging of being celebrated.
Through community partnerships, birthday submissions, Amazon wish lists, and monthly parties, Birthday Village is building a village where every child's life is worth celebrating.

To create meaningful birthday experiences for children who may otherwise go unrecognized, with special attention given to children with special needs.
